I love the little things in life and nature has so many to offer... this fern caught my eye, it amazes me how such a lush plant can unfold from such a tiny little spiral formation... beauty is everywhere - life is truly inspirational!

Black and white

I don't usually go for the Black and white option, I prefer vivid colour... but I am trying to embrace all aspects of photography... I actually like this photo, the black and white looks great, his side profile, caught off guard while he was amused else where creates a wonderful shot without the posing and 'photo face' expressions we too often find in pre arranged shots.

What a wonderfully sunny day for the end of winter... I took this opportunity to get out in the fresh air and snap a photo or two.... these were amongst my favorites of the day... the middle one i think is worthy of putting onto a canvas for my lounge room wall....

I love how fresh things look straight after it has rained... I don't have a macro lens yet but i attempt to capture rain drops and dew drops - I like this shot because the flowers are bright on a darker background with very vibrant green leaves giving the picture an extra depth....
